Seaside Artists Have Until October 30 to Enter Walter Lee Avery Gallery Competition

Seaside, Monterey County — October 26, 2026. Artists interested in displaying their work at the Walter Lee Avery Gallery have until Friday, October 30 to register for the city’s Fall Art Competition. The city says the exhibition and competition period will run from November 2, 2026 through January 1, 2027.

Online registration is linked from the city’s News Flash and paper forms are available at the Oldemeyer Center front desk. Artists should read current rules about eligibility, media, delivery dates, display terms and any fees before submitting. Registration itself is not confirmation that a work has been accepted or selected for an award.

This opportunity is a local Seaside arts event, not a statewide contest run by an unrelated commercial gallery. City announcements are the authoritative source for changes to deadlines or exhibition arrangements.

Official source: Seaside public information and program details. This is original California58 local service reporting, not a claim that a proposed measure, construction plan or scheduled meeting has already been approved or completed.
