Four Seaside School Sites Offer Free Food Pick-Up for MPUSD Families: Addresses and Weekly Hours

SEASIDE, Monterey County — October 27, 2026. Food assistance for local school families is available at several sites during the week. The City of Seaside’s public service listing describes free food pick-up for Monterey Peninsula Unified School District families, with no registration required.

Locations and published times

Central Coast High School, 200 Coe Avenue: Mondays, 1–2:30 p.m., chef-prepared meals and food-bank produce.
Martin Luther King School, 1713 Broadway: Tuesdays, 2–3:30 p.m., prepared meals.
Seaside High School, 2200 Noche Buena Street: Thursdays, 3:30–4:40 p.m., prepared meals.
Ord Terrace Elementary, 1755 La Salle Avenue: Mondays, 2:30–5 p.m., prepared meals.

The city says participating families need no advance registration. Distribution supplies and hours may change around district holidays, staffing or weather, so visitors should confirm the next session with their school office.

Why this information matters

Finding reliable food distribution nearby can save travel costs for households balancing work, school and transportation. The notice is an announcement of existing support, not a finding that every MPUSD household is food insecure. Residents can ask schools about other multilingual services or community partners.
