SEASIDE, Monterey County — October 25, 2026. The City of Seaside is sponsoring a $25 mobile spay-and-neuter clinic on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, according to its official event notice. The clinic is scheduled for an empty lot near Chili’s at 1271 Canyon Del Rey Boulevard, Seaside, CA 93955. The service is available to Seaside residents only and appointments are required; this is not a walk-in program.

How to schedule and what $25 covers

To request an appointment with SNIP Mobile Spay and Neuter, the city instructs residents to call or text (925) 967-1001. The published fee is $25. For dogs, it includes pain medication and an E-Cone. A cat E-Cone costs an additional $10. The city says rabies and booster vaccines are included without an added charge, while microchipping and sedatives each cost $25; further fees apply for certain procedures such as hernias or cryptorchid cases. Contact the provider about an animal’s eligibility, health restrictions, available appointments and any fee changes.

The city’s listing specifies the date as all day without giving each pet a public appointment time. Only the provider can confirm a particular animal’s check-in or pickup schedule. Residents should not assume the clinic has open slots merely because an announcement remains online.

Halloween activities later this week

The municipal October events calendar also lists the fourth annual Trunk or Treat at Cypress Coast Subaru on Friday, October 30, from 3:30 to 6 p.m. A separate Halloween Bonanza is scheduled at the Oldemeyer Center, 986 Hilby Avenue, on Saturday, October 31, from 6 to 9 p.m. The city describes activities for families, including games and candy. Check the latest organizer announcements before travelling.

Prescription drug take-back event

The same city calendar lists DEA National Prescription Drug Take Back Day for Saturday, October 31, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Seaside Police Department, 440 Harcourt Avenue. The listing describes disposal of expired or unused prescription medications. Participants should verify accepted items and drop-off rules with the official organizer, and should not assume sharps or every type of medicine can be accepted.
